Owner and operator of a chain of convenience stores and gas stations.
Type of work:
Real Estate Extern: Student will be involved in real estate matters, including due diligence, title and survey review, drafting and reviewing contracts, research, and possibly site visits; and will assist with contracts, litigation, corporate, and labor and employment issues.
Corporate Extern: Student will be involved in corporate and commercial transactions legal matters and will review commercial agreements, attend stakeholder meetings; assist on trademark matters; and support the overall corporate legal team.
Notes:
Real Estate Extern: Flexible about in-person, virtual, or hybrid externship
Corporate Extern: In-Person required; but opportunities may exist for hybrid work

Prior coursework or other skills:
Real Estate Extern: Interest, background, and/or coursework in real estate are desirable
Corporate Extern: Interest, background, and/or coursework in transactional law preferred
Number of externs:
2 extern positions available, one in real estate and one in corporate. Please indicate desired preference in statement of interest.
Preferred days:
Real Estate Extern: Flexible, with Monday or Friday as preferred day
Corporate Extern: Flexible except for Fridays, with Thursday as a preferred day.
