Please join us for the final Pet Therapy Zoom of the semester! The stars of the show will be all of our pets (aspiring therapy dogs, cats, plants, other - all are welcome!), but humans without pets should join as well! We are all going to miss those adorable pups in the Law Library Foyer this exam period, but we hope Zooming with our pets can be the next best thing. Feel free to pop in just for a minute, or stay for the entire half hour - up to you!
The 35th Annual Equal Justice Foundation will be held on March 22-27, 2021. This auction will raise funds for public interest scholarships by auctioning off donations from local businesses, faculty/staff, and the UGA Law community.
Beginning on March 3 and each following Wednesday at 9 a.m., Career Development and Advancement will host eight students and one attorney over zoom for small group networking over coffee, or a morning beverage of choice. The series, titled 9@9, is designed to create more intimate networking and learning sessions for students. Each session will be about 40 minutes: 30 minutes to hear from the Attorney and then about 10 minutes for questions.
This event is envisioned to be a more informal setting to interact with UGA Law alumni.
This blood drive is open to all members of the UGA community. In order to properly maintain social distancing, donors will require an appointment and should visit https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time and use the sponsor code: UGA.
The 32nd Annual Red Clay Conference, titled "Overcoming Toxic Relationships," will address coal ash disposal, brownfield redevelopment in Georgia and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in drinking water.
With blood supplies at a low level, the UGA chapter of the American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive at Memorial Hall. You can sign up for a blood drive appointment at https://forms.gle/9QiH7cZ6RVeaTnvd7 .
