Please join us as we have a conversation with Judge Carolyn Altman of Paulding County Juvenile Court to discuss the specifics of a career in juvenile advocacy. Judge Altman assumed her position on the bench in July 2018. Earlier in her career, she worked as an attorney at the Juvenile Public Defenders Office in Douglasville, GA and at Altman Law Firm. She will discuss what juvenile cases typically entail, how juvenile law intersects with family law, and advice for law students wishing to get involved in the field. This discussion will occur via Zoom.
