The Federal Bar Association wants to provide an informal opportunity for law students who have obtained a state or federal judicial clerkship this summer to connect with other law students who have served in similar positions in the past. Here, students are encouraged to exchange valuable insights on their experiences, including strategies for optimizing the clerkship and expectations for the role.

ACS - Preying On A Dream; Abuse, Exploitation, and Modern Day Slavery

Many people pine for a better life for their family. Others may be fleeing dangerous conditions. There are predators who prey on those dreams and that desperation. There are a number of staffing services that charge exorbitant prices for H2-A sponsorship. They force people to take out loans and put them into a form of indentured servitude. These people are forced to live and work in heinous conditions for little to no pay.
