Brumby Distinguished Professor in First Amendment Law Sonja R. West presented as part of a panel titled "The Free Press and the Presidency" at the "Freedom of the Press in Tumultuous Times" conference hosted by the Utah Valley University Center for Constitutional Studies during April.

Clinical Professor & Prosecutorial Justice Program Director Alan A. Cook was featured in the LaGrange Daily News regarding his keynote address at LaGrange's Child Abuse Awareness Ceremony and Re-signing of the Child Abuse Protocol event. The article titled "Local officials re-sign Child Abuse Protocol" was written by Alicia B. Hill and published 4/17/19.

Associate Professor Logan E. Sawyer III presented "Originalism from the Soft Southern Strategy to the New Right: The Constitutional Politics of Sam Ervin Jr." as part of Boston College's Legal History Roundtable series during April.

Callaway Chair Elizabeth Chamblee Burch was featured in The New York Times regarding a recent Food and Drug Administration order to stop surgical mesh sales for the repair of pelvic organ prolapse and related litigation. The article titled "F.D.A. Halts U.S. Sales of Pelvic Mesh, Citing Safety Concerns for Women" was written by Shelia Kaplan and Matthew Goldstein and was published 4/16/19.

Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein published "Digital Taxation Lessons From Wayfair and the U.S. States' Responses" in 94 Tax Notes International 241 (2019) (with J. Owens and C. Dimitropoulou) (published simultaneously in 92 State Tax Notes 219 (2019)).
