Candlelight memorial service to be held May 3

Thirty University of Georgia students, faculty and staff members who have died since April 2021 will be honored at the university’s annual candlelight memorial service on May 3 at 7 p.m. on the steps of the UGA Chapel.

Hansey wins First-year Moot Court Competition

Congratulations to first-year students Kendra H.S. Hansey and Jake R. Shatzer and to all of the other participants who made the 2022 First-year Moot Court Competition such a great success. The final round was judged by UGA President Jere W. Morehead, U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Stephanie D.

2001 graduate supports first-generation students

The School of Law is pleased to share that 2001 alumnus Gardiner Thompson became the most recent University of Georgia School of Law graduate to create an endowed scholarship supporting first-generation college graduates.
