The Benefits of Membership

Overview

SBA Membership is one of the most important things you can secure for your time at Georgia Law. In addition to allowing you access to the SBA Outline Bank and Course Evaluations, your membership also guarantees you discounted rates on Georgia Law Merchandise, tailgate passes, Barrister's Ball tickets, Golf Tournament registration, and much much more! SBA Members enjoy the benefit of being Members in Good Standing with the organization and gain a jump start in becoming a part of the Georgia Law community.

Memberships cannot be purchased over the Georgia Law website; however, plenty of helpful information may be found on the UGA Student Bar Association facebook page. Current Dues Rates

Memberships are 12 months but run from August 1 to July 31 regardless of the time of purchase.

Voting

Although you have to pay dues to be an SBA Member in Good Standing and to receive the benefits of membership, students who are not members in good standing with SBA are still represented by SBA. As Georgia Law's student government organization, SBA works on behalf of all students. Therefore, all students have the opportunity and are encouraged to vote in SBA elections in the fall and the spring.
