UGA Law is competing in Food Frenzy once again and this year we are in it to win it! Visit an SBA representative outside of the law library every day from 11-1 to donate and to learn about this year's prizes!

Students and faculty will be recognized for their achievements at the Law School for calendar year 2019 at 4:30 pm on April 14, 2020. Visit the Awards Day 2020 webpage at 4:30 pm to view the awards recipients and join in the celebration.

The Atlanta Bar Association is presenting a Summer Series of online info sessions for law students and recent graduates. The sessions are free, and require registration to obtain the login information.

Tony Waller, CDO's Director of Public Sector Career Advising and Bar Exam Success Programming, will review hiring patterns, criteria, programs and strategies for:

• Federal, state and local government employers
• Non-profit groups
• Public defenders
• Prosecutors
• Legal aid providers.

Any students interested in public sector work are encouraged to join the session. A recording will be made available to students with conflicts.

Want to learn about how you can fight voter suppression and protect democracy in this election? On October 6 at 6 pm, join Georgia Law alum Corey Goerdt and the Democratic Party of Georgia's Voter Protection team to hear how you can make an impact on this historic election in the coming weeks.

We are honored to welcome Ling Ling Nie, the General Counsel and Vice President for Ethics and Compliance at Georgia Tech, as a guest speaker this semester. Before working at Georgia Tech, she was the Chief Compliance Officer & Assistant General Counsel at Panasonic Corporation. Ms. Nie will be sharing her career experiences working in-house. This will be a good listen for those who are interested in working in-house at some point in time.
