Assistant Professor Assaf Harpaz presented “Tax Sovereignty” at the Junior International Law Scholars Association Annual Meeting in January. He also presented as part of the panel titled “Preparing for a career in academia, the mentors’ advice” and commented on “Is Rule of Law Decline Rewarded in Trade? Lessons from the European Union” (by Stanford’s J. Deli). The meeting was hosted by the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.
