The University of Georgia School of Law recently took part in two separate legal pro bono clinics in Harris and Sumter counties. More than 20 individuals received aid between the two events, which were hosted by the Georgia Legal Services Program.
Class of 2026 graduate Jordan Busby participated in the event along with Civil Externship Program & Public Interest Practicum Director Elizabeth M. Grant, Wilson Family Justice Clinic Director Christine M. Scartz and Clinical Professor Emeritus Alexander W. “Alex” Scherr.
The law school’s involvement in these clinics was supported by a Callaway Foundation grant.
