  • As a new UGA student, you will be able to upload your own ID photo to be used on your first UGA OneCard. This Photo Upload application is available ONLY to those who have not been issued a UGA identification card since 2002. You can find more information on the UGA Onecard for Incoming Students page. It is very important to obtain your UGA OneCard as you will need it to access the law school.
  • Parking Information: If you registered for parking, your permit can be picked up from Parking Services now for immediate use.
    • If you have been unable to obtain a parking pass, please contact Casey Graham at casey.graham@uga.edu.

Health & Safety Guidance

  • Since the risks of COVID-19 remain high for people who are not fully vaccinated, the University strongly encourages ALL faculty, staff, and students to wear a mask or face covering while inside campus facilities, maintain physical distancing and follow other CDC guidelines while on campus. However, USG institutions no longer require the use of face coverings or physical distancing on campus.

  • The University strongly encourages ALL faculty, staff and students to be vaccinated. However, based on USG guidance, the University cannot require students, faculty or staff to be vaccinated in order to be on campus.

    • Faculty, staff and students can schedule an appointment directly with the University Health center to get vaccinated and receive a limited edition t-shirt PLUS a $20 local gift card of choice, courtesy of the President’s Venture Fund. While supplies last, options include gift cards to the UGA Bookstore, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Fully Loaded and El Barrio. Getting your vaccine is fast, easy, and at no cost to you.

  • Any student who tests positive for COVID-19 is required to report their positive test through DawgCheck and follow the guidance provided. Unvaccinated individuals who have been in close contact with an individual infected with COVID-19 must quarantine. Individuals who are fully vaccinated or who have had COVID-19 within the past three months and recovered (completed the recommended 10-day isolation period) do not need to quarantine, even if they have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

  • ArchPass: Some UGA systems require more than your MyID and password for access, including ATHENA and eLC . For these systems and applications, you’ll need to use ArchPass, UGA’s two-step login solution, which is powered by Duo. This two-step login process adds an extra layer of security to help protect your UGA accounts.
    • You can enroll a phone or tablet through the Self-Service Portal. You can find instructions for enrolling devices on the Help Desk.
      • Step 1: Enter your UGA MyID and password.
      • Step 2: You can verify your ID with the Duo Mobile app, a text message or a phone call to your Duo-enrolled phone or tablet.
  • eLearning Commons: eLearning Commons (eLC) is the online learning management system for the University of Georgia. More information about eLC can be found here: How to Use the eLC Portal. Instructions for logging on to eLC can be found here: Logging into eLC.
  • TWEN Student Guide: TWEN is an online extension of the law school classroom. You can use TWEN to access your course materials, participate in class discussions, receive and submit online assignments, complete quizzes, exchange email messages with your instructors and classmates, and more. To participate in TWEN, you need a WestlawNext password, which will be provided during Orientation.
