Tim Wilson joined the Alexander Campbell King Law Library at the University of Georgia School of Law as the digital initiatives and technology librarian in the spring of 2026. In this role he is responsible for the management and development of the law school institutional repository and archives while participating in the overall operation of the Law Library.
He comes to UGA with almost eight years of library experience, with approximately six years at law libraries. Wilson most recently held the position of digital collections and scholarly services librarian at Florida International University. Previously, he was an electronic resources librarian at the Georgetown Law Library and an electronic services librarian at St. Mary’s University School of Law. Additionally, he served as a web services librarian for the University of Texas at Dallas for two years.
Wilson’s other experience includes serving as a web developer/specialist for approximately three years. He also spent roughly four years teaching abroad in Ukraine (through the U.S. Peace Corps) and in the Czech Republic.
Wilson earned his Bachelor of Arts in English/Classics, Juris Doctor and Master of Library and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama.
